retcile replacement????
« on: April 01, 2008, 04:34:33 AM »
I built me a semi custom sniper type rifle recently.  It's a Savage model 12 barreled action (.270WSM).  Resting in a Mcmillian A3 stock.  With a Weaver 6-24x40 Classic V scope nested in Burris Xtreme Tactical rings mounted on a dang i always forget the rail maker........  anyhow.

The Weaver has a MilDot reticle and it's on a thick side of things.  Makes it kinda touchy when trying to group shoots.   I would really like to replace just the reticle.  I love everything elses about the scope.  Would like to have a reticle like the Burris Ballistic Plex.  I have that on my Ruger M77 and love it!!!

Does anyone know a company that provides this service?  Or would i be better off just selling the scope an  buying a Burris?

thought i'd toss out the question.

later

Woman Goes for Leg Operation, Gets New Anus Instead

Wednesday, March 19, 2008

A German retiree is taking a hospital to court after she went in for a leg operation and got a new anus instead, the Daily Telegraph is reporting.

The woman woke up to find she had been mixed up with another patient suffering from incontinence who was to have surgery on her sphincter.

The clinic in Hochfranken, Bavaria, has since suspended the surgical team.

Now the woman is planning to sue the hospital. She still needs the leg operation and is searching for another hospital to do it.
